Private Credit Senior Associate - Specialty Finance

A growing alternative investment manager focused on asset-backed credit and structured finance is looking to add a Senior Associate to its Private Credit team in New York. The firm manages multi-billion-dollar institutional capital across a range of public and private credit strategies and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, entrepreneurial investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed credit underwriting, including financial analysis, cash flow modeling, collateral evaluation, and investment memorandum preparation.
• Support the execution of private credit investments from initial diligence through closing.
• Assist with structuring transactions and reviewing legal documentation alongside internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor an existing portfolio by tracking financial performance, covenant compliance, and overall credit quality.
• Prepare portfolio updates, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior investment professionals.
• Work directly with borrowers, advisors, and internal teams throughout the investment process.
