Credit Underwriter, Equipment Finance

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join a growing equipment finance platform. This individual will be responsible for underwriting equipment finance lease and loan transactions across a range of industries and asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have experience underwriting both direct-originated and syndicated transactions, with exposure to commercial vehicles, construction equipment, machine tools, and other essential-use assets.

• Underwrite and structure small-ticket equipment finance lease and loan transactions.
• Analyze new and existing customers through detailed financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit evaluation.
• Prepare concise, well-reasoned credit memoranda and recommendations.
• Support the structuring and negotiation of transaction terms and conditions.
• Evaluate creditworthiness for new, renewal, and extension transactions.
• Assist with transaction closing and coordination with internal teams, clients, and legal counsel.
• Ensure all lending decisions comply with established credit policies, procedures, and risk parameters.

• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant credit underwriting experience.
• Prior experience in equipment finance, leasing, commercial lending, or a related credit environment.
• Strong financial statement analysis and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience evaluating direct-originated and/or syndicated transactions is preferred.
