Associate, Investment Banking – Applied AI

JCW is partnering with a leading financial services firm to hire an Associate for their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment banking professional looking to join a well-respected financial institution and gain exposure to AI-driven tools and initiatives shaping the future of the industry. The role offers strong visibility across the business and the opportunity to apply emerging AI capabilities within a core investment banking function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support deal execution, financial modeling, and analysis across investment banking transactions
• Apply AI/ML tools and techniques to enhance deal analysis, due diligence, and process efficiency
• Partner with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to prepare pitch materials, valuations, and client deliverables
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI-driven solutions into existing workflows and processes
• Conduct industry and company research to support transaction execution and business development
• Contribute to the team's broader strategy for adopting AI and automation within investment banking processes
• Stay informed on emerging AI developments, fintech trends, and their applications within financial services

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 2–4 years of Investment Banking experience (required)
• 1–3 years of experience working with AI/ML tools or on AI-driven projects
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills
• Ability to bridge deep finance expertise with emerging technology
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field preferred
