Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the Chief Financial Officer across accounting, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. This role is a key contributor to the team and plays an important part in maintaining the organization’s financial health through accurate processing, reporting, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities Accounting, Financial Operations Administration & HR Support
  • Invoice processing & preparation of vendor payments.
  • Identify and track expense allocations.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank, investment, and American Express accounts.
  • Process accounts receivable and support collections activities.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes & reports.
  • Assist and support preparation of regulatory filings such as 1099s and Form 990.
  • Support annual audit activities.
  • Support budgeting & planning with forecasting of revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Payroll, Benefits & Cross-Functional Support
  • Assist with reviewing biweekly payroll reports for accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Track PTO usage and maintain payroll-related records in ADP.
  • Assist with commuter, insurance, and benefit reimbursement tracking.
  • Cross-train with HR on payroll and benefits processes as needed.
  • Ad hoc: perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of financial analysis or accounting experience; nonprofit or association experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Excel; strong data analysis and modeling skills.
  • Understanding of GAAP.
  • Experience with accounting and payroll systems such as Quick Books, ADP, or Power BI preferred.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
