Vice President – Tax

Company Overview

A discreet family office is seeking a Head of Tax to join their team.

• Lead the implementation of trust and estate planning transactions and oversee tax-sensitive transactions and entity-level reporting.
• Serve as a primary relationship manager for high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations, trusts, and related entities.
• Lead and execute complex, cross-disciplinary projects from a tax perspective.
• Participate in negotiations and oversight of the family’s master credit facility and other debt instruments.
• Lead preparation and presentation of foundation trustee materials and oversee tracking and fulfillment of charitable pledges.
• Review quarterly personal financial statements through a tax lens and provide tax modeling and analysis on unique and complex assets.
• Serve as an intermediate leadership layer, fostering a one-team mentality and providing mentorship and quality oversight to team members.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, finance, or a related field; CPA required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in tax, accounting, and client service.
• Family office, private wealth, or professional services experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with BNA Income Tax Planner and General Ledger Software a plus.
• Proven experience leading, mentoring, and motivating teams.

Salary: $250,000 – $350,000, Plus Bonus
