Financial Analyst
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Research, extract, and analyze relevant data to solve problems, draw logical conclusions and make investment recommendations which support business decisions Utilize industry research tools to capture, research and synthesize essential industry knowledge to support the business in making informed investment decisions Research, analyze and leverage historical financials, profit margins, strengths, risks and mitigants to support expected cash and downside forecasts Requirements:
Preferred candidate will be a rising Senior (Class of 2028) expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computational Finance, Economics, Accounting or other quantitively focused curriculum Strong attention to detail; careful review of facts and figures, quick to identify errors, ability to ensure consistency of information Superior Excel and financial modeling skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Knowledge of the middle market levered lending market, customers and competitors strongly preferred Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey complex business and marketing concepts, effective and strong active listening skills Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results driven team environment Demonstrated leadership skills with an ability to negotiate, influence and gain credibility Innovative and creative thinker;
ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions, ability to project how potential ideas may play out
