Churchill Summer Internship: Fund Accounting

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Review of quarterly trial balance and key supporting schedules, including cash and positions reconciliations. Review of investor allocations, including capital call and distribution calculations and capital account statements. Review of carried interest calculations. Review and tie out quarterly financial statements. Logging received invoices and updating internal expense trackers. Ad hoc requests from Investor Relations and Operations teams.

Preferred candidate will be a rising Senior (Class of 2028) or rising Junior (Class of 2029) expected to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Strong attention to detail; careful review of facts and figures, quick to identify errors, ensure consistency of information Superior Excel skills, with demonstrated ability to express complex ideas in a clear and concise manner Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills, effective and strong active listening skills Proven track record of success collaborating in a fast-paced, results driven team environment Innovative and creative thinker;

ability to make connections among previously unrelated notions, ability to project how potential ideas may play out.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
