Chief Financial Officer

Arsenault is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to serve as an active contributor on the executive team and partner to the President in supporting the development of a high performing organization and culture. The CFO will mature the accounting and finance functions to prepare Arsenault to rapidly scale and support the other functional areas of the business. Specific responsibilities include:

• Partner with President, business executives and the Board to implement Arsenaults business strategies.
• Produce forward looking, predictive financial models to provide insight into the organizations operations and business plans and proactively monitor and report progress.
• Provide financial and operational mentorship as the Company scales both strategically and cost-effectively.
• Analyze company operations to help identify opportunities for improvement and/or optimization.
• Manage annual third-party, independent audit process.
• Oversee banking relationships and proactively monitor financial and operational requirements (e.g. lines of credit, account balances).
• Lead the production and review of weekly and monthly reporting metrics (e.g. KPIs, financial statements) to be shared with C-Level and/or the Board of Managers.
• Ensure flawless execution and proper analysis of potential acquisitions, partnerships, and M&A prospects.
• Lead internal underwriting and integration of M&A activity.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions (e.g. tax reporting/filing).
• Understand and review details of documents such as credit agreements, material purchase transaction documents, and legal contracts, etc. that may have financial implications to the business.
• Monitor and forecast Payments Processing and SaaS KPIs.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, CPA preferred.
• Hands-on CFO with experience in a growth-oriented software business, preferably fintech.
• Recent growth-stage executive leadership; preferably in a PE backed company.
• 15+ years of demonstrable, progressive success as a financial leader.
• Significant experience defining and operationalizing financial strategies.
• Proven history of managing the financial and operational expansion of a business.
• Senior management experience including Board of Director and C-level interaction.
• Motivated to join an entrepreneurial team of smart, driven people.
• Prior success upgrading the quality of an organization's financial infrastructure by improving budgeting, reporting, and internal controls.
• Strategic thinker with exceptional technical skills, analytical ability, superb judgment and strong operational understanding of multi-unit business operations.
