A leading investment bank or advisory firm may seek a GP Advisory Analyst to support GP clients on fund formation, capital raising, and strategic advisory initiatives. This role is well-suited for candidates seeking exposure to private equity, alternative investments, and fund advisory work, combined with financial modeling and investor engagement experience.

Support General Partners (GPs) with fund formation, capital strategy, and investor relations

Build and maintain financial models for fund performance, return projections, and capital structure scenarios (DCF, IRR, NAV, waterfall modeling)

Conduct market research, benchmarking, and industry analysis for GP clients

Prepare pitch decks, investor presentations, fund marketing materials, and investment memoranda

Assist with due diligence, fund documentation, and transaction execution

Collaborate with senior bankers and GP clients on capital advisory, fund strategy, and fundraising initiatives

Support monitoring and reporting of fund performance and investor communications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline

Strong skills in financial modeling, fund structuring, and capital advisory analysis

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities

Ability to handle multiple work streams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, fund advisory, asset management, or consulting is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and common financial research tools
