Role Overview

A leading middle‑market investment bank or advisory firm may seek a Restructuring Analyst to support distressed M&A, turnaround strategies, and debt advisory. These roles are ideal for candidates interested in financial restructuring, solvency analysis, and strategic advisory for companies in stress or transition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain financial models (3‑statement, DCF, LBO, liquidity forecasts, debt restructuring scenarios)
  • Conduct industry research, distressed company analysis, and benchmarking to support restructuring plans
  • Support debt refinancing, distressed M&A, recapitalizations, and turnaround engagements
  • Prepare pitch books, restructuring memoranda, and client presentations
  • Assist with due diligence, creditor communications, and transaction execution
  • Collaborate with senior bankers and restructuring specialists across strategic, financial, and operational workflows
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
