We are seeking a highly quantitative problem solver to join a collaborative trading team in New York. This position focuses on identifying pricing inefficiencies, developing quantitative models, executing trading strategies, managing risk, and researching new trading opportunities.
Responsibilities- Identify and trade pricing inefficiencies across financial markets
- Develop and refine proprietary quantitative trading models
- Analyze market behavior and translate findings into practical trading decisions
- Manage trading risk and evaluate strategy performance
- Investigate new financial products and potential trading opportunities
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and engineers on quantitative problems
- Use technology and data to improve trading strategies and decision-making
- Take on increasing trading responsibility as expertise develops
- Exceptional quantitative and mathematical reasoning ability
- Strong practical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively on complex problems
- Interest in applying quantitative reasoning to real-world decision-making
- Programming comfort in a language of choice is beneficial but not required
- Prior finance or economics knowledge is not required
