Several leading AmLaw firms are seeking mid-level Finance Associates to join highly regarded finance, lending, and private credit practices across major U.S. markets. Preferred locations are New York and Washington DC.
These opportunities offer the chance to work on sophisticated financing transactions for lenders, private credit funds, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, and corporate borrowers while collaborating with nationally recognized practitioners on market-leading matters.
The work includes- Leveraged finance transactions
- Private credit and direct lending matters
- Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment papers, security agreements, and related financing documents
- Managing syndicated and club loan transactions
- Commercial lending and secured transactions
- UCC-related matters and collateral documentation
- General corporate and transactional experience
- 3+ years of finance experience from an AmLaw 200 firm
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and transaction execution
- Experience representing lenders, private credit funds, or financial institutions
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
- Strong academic credentials and active bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction
- Work with premier finance and private credit practices representing top-tier institutional clients
- Significant client interaction and responsibility from day one
