Investment VP - Industrials

A leading investment firm is looking to add a Vice President of Investments to its New York team. The firm has a strong track record investing across the industrials sector and is seeking a senior investment professional who can play a meaningful role across the full investment lifecycle.

The VP will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, executing, and managing investments across industrials, working closely with senior members of the investment team and taking significant ownership of transactions from initial diligence through execution and portfolio management.

• Lead the evaluation of new investment opportunities across the industrials sector
• Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment cases
• Conduct market, industry, and company-specific due diligence
• Lead transaction execution and coordinate with internal and external advisors
• Develop relationships with management teams, intermediaries, and other industry participants
• Monitor and support portfolio company performance and strategic initiatives
• Present investment recommendations and analysis to senior investment professionals
• Help identify and develop new investment themes and opportunities within industrials

• 6–10+ years of relevant investment experience
• Experience in private equity, or a related investment role
  , with a strong preference for candidates with direct investing experience
• Demonstrated experience covering industrials or closely related sectors
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Experience taking transactions through the investment process from diligence to closing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take significant ownership of investments
