  • Manage clients and related credit products
  • Partner with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations, and risk teams to support client relationships
  • Underwrite, monitor, and manage operational needs and client requests
  • Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the Global Banking & Markets product spectrum
  • Drive speed to market and asset quality
  • Assess portfolio risk at the client, industry, and macro levels and craft value-added solutions balancing risk and return
  • Assess creditworthiness and conduct due diligence on prospective borrowers and/or trading counter parties
  • Establish appropriate terms and conditions to mitigate risk within the bank’s risk appetite and strategies
  • Assess clients’ credit needs and create solutions
  • Lead loan structure discussions and negotiate loan documentation with clients and legal partners
  • Drive credit and risk approval processes for new originations, renewals, increases, and modifications
  • Lead ongoing portfolio monitoring in compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Drive funded-loan and revenue growth while mitigating risks and maintaining asset quality
  • Serve as escalation point for complex credit transactions
  • Mentor and support associates
  • Manage credit risk for Municipal Banking and Markets counter parties/issuers
  • Manage a high-volume, fast-paced portfolio using a risk-based approach
  • Partner with Global Markets stakeholders, including Trading, Structuring, and Sales, and internal support functions
  • May provide feedback to less experienced teammates and manage a team
Requirements
  • 10+ years of prior counter party credit risk management and due diligence experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Proficient with Bloomberg
  • Financial institutions or municipal counter party experience desired
  • Ability to work 1st shift
  • 40 hours per week
