Investment Intern

• Support the Investment division through routine and project-based work across its teams
• Gain broad exposure to the Woodmen Life organization through weekly internship cohort meetings, executive leadership meetings and one‑on‑one meetings with division leaders
• Summarize and present a capstone presentation covering project accomplishments, skill development and key learnings
• Support the Mortgage Loan Annual Servicing Project by reviewing property performance updates for more than 500 mortgage loans
• Enter reviewed property performance information accurately and completely into mortgage servicing software
• Assist the Securities team with developing and maintaining credit profiles for debt issuers
• Organize financial, issuer and supporting information for investment professionals conducting servicing and credit review activities
• Track and maintain security‑related investment holdings
• Review mortgage loan operating reports
• Collaborate with Mortgage Analysts and Portfolio Managers on data entry, file tracking and updates to holdings
• Complete assigned routine and project‑based work within established timelines
• Protect confidential business and financial information
• Use approved AI tools ethically and responsibly
• Meet attendance and punctuality expectations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in college with area of study in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate or a related degree program
• Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Ability to work 38.75 hours per week
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively while working collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate data entry and documentation
• Ability to review, organize and interpret financial and business information
• Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Preferred working knowledge of Bloomberg Terminal
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment when handling business and financial information
• Ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service
• Passion for making an impact in local communities
• Successful completion of criminal background check, credit check when required, fingerprint check when required, drug screen and reference checks
• Must comply with applicable procedures and internal controls

Demonstrates strong analytical skills in reviewing and organizing financial information, with proficiency in data entry and documentation. Capable of collaborating effectively with investment professionals while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
