The anticipated salary range for this role is between $ and $. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.

The Director is responsible for leading credit underwriting and portfolio management activities within Credit Portfolio Management, including oversight of portfolio monitoring, transaction execution, risk ratings, US Regulatory Classification, and exposure management. The role manages a team of credit professionals, drives consistent credit practices, ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and supports proactive portfolio risk management and decision-making. The Director will have oversight responsibilities for Industry Vertical with more than 10 direct and indirect reports.
RoleObjectives
- Lead portfolio-level credit underwriting, transaction execution, and portfolio management activities.
- Manage teams of credit professionals and provide leadership, coaching, and performance oversight.
- Oversee preparation and review of credit applications, annual and quarterly reviews, and other monitoring reports. Ensure the appropriate processing of transaction-related requests.
- Maintain high standards of credit analysis through effective review, challenge, and oversight of team work product. Drive performance improvement by leading best practices in credit underwriting to ensure the highest quality of analysis within CPM.
- Ensure timely identification, escalation, and remediation of emerging credit risks across the portfolio.
- Drive consistent application of credit policies, procedures, risk ratings, and US Regulatory Classification requirements. Develop, implement and own CPM policies and procedures and provide effective training to ensure the proper governance within the group.
- Ongoing portfolio reporting, portfolio management, and credit cost oversight.
- Oversees relevant aspects of the control environment including issues management, audits/reviews, Annual Risk Assessment, testing of controls and customer remediation.
