Location: New York
Bank in Midtown, Manhattan is seeking a Credit Officer at the VP level!
- Prepare accurate and timely credit reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, risk management standards, and internal controls.
- Prepare supporting documentation and reports for internal and external audits, including regulatory examinations by the Federal Reserve (FRB) and Department of Financial Services (DFS).
- Monitor and analyze the credit portfolio, identifying key trends, risks, and areas requiring attention.
- Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and quality of credit data and related reporting.
- Conduct sector, industry, and portfolio analysis in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, manage, and escalation credit and operational risks in a timely manner.
- Support additional credit risk, portfolio management, and reporting requirements as the business and portfolio grow.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years experience working in a credit function at a bank
- Prior experience working within credit at a Commercial Bank is ideal
