Position Summary

The Junior Analyst will play a key role within the Middle Office Portfolio Data Management team, supporting daily operational processes related to syndicated bank loans and other credit products across CIFC-managed funds and CLOs. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of transaction activity and maintaining high-quality portfolio data. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Daily operational support for bank loans including
  • Processing loan activity (principal, interest, fees)
  • Interest accrual reconciliation with agent banks
  • Validate and reconcile loan contract positions against information from agent banks
  • Conduct daily cash break reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Partner with internal teams and agent banks to resolve data issues promptly.
  • Trade Verification in electronic settlement platform (Clear Par)
  • Review and resolve items flagged in daily operational control and exception reports.
  • Maintain and update portfolio attributes and static data across assigned deal coverage.
  • Monitor and manage tax with holdings across CIFC funds and CLOs and work with agent banks to pursue recovery of withheld cash when applicable.
Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of bank loan operations or related middle-office functions
  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office Administrator is strongly preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general technology skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
