Partner - Restructuring & Insolvency

An established and growing restructuring, insolvency, and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Partner to join its leadership team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior restructuring professional looking to build and expand their own practice within an entrepreneurial environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in originating mandates, leading complex engagements, developing client relationships, and helping shape the future growth of the firm.

We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in Chapter 11 restructurings, trustee appointments, interim CFO engagements, workouts, and post-confirmation matters, as well as individuals who have served as Assignee for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC), Restructuring Officer, or in similar court-appointed and fiduciary capacities.

Candidates bringing an existing book of business, or a demonstrated ability to develop one quickly, are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Lead and manage complex restructuring, turnaround, insolvency, and distressed situations engagements.
• Serve in fiduciary and court-appointed capacities, including trustee, restructuring officer, ABC assignee, liquidator, receiver, or similar roles.
• Advise debtors, creditors, investors, boards, and other stakeholders through distressed and special situations.
• Lead post-confirmation Chapter 11 assignments and implementation engagements.
• Participate in interim management assignments, including Interim CFO and Chief Restructuring Officer mandates.
• Develop and expand client relationships across legal, lending, private equity, and corporate markets.
• Execute business development initiatives and originate new matters.
• Mentor and develop junior professionals while building and growing a dedicated practice area.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and leadership of the firm.

• 10+ years of experience within restructuring, insolvency, turnaround, or special situations advisory.
• Strong background in one or more of the following:
• Restructuring Officer appointments
• Chapter 11 restructuring matters
• Interim CFO/CRO assignments
• Workouts and distressed debt situations
• Proven track record of leading complex assignments and managing client relationships.
• Demonstrated business development capability and commercial acumen.
• Existing referral network and/or portable book of business highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build and grow a team and practice area.
