Role SummaryYou will advise borrowers and lenders on secured financings, with regular exposure to complex collateral structures and tailored credit products. Matters include receivables financings, asset-based loans, structured financings, and transactions involving less traditional asset classes. The work is document-heavy, negotiation-driven, and substantive.
Day to day responsibilities include:- Drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, pledge agreements, and related collateral documents
- Advising on secured balance sheet financings and structured credit transactions
- Handling bond and note offerings, including indentures, note purchase agreements, and disclosure materials
- Working directly with partners and clients on deal execution
- JD class years 2018–2022
- Prior experience in a finance practice at a peer law firm
- Hands-on exposure to receivables, asset-based, and/or structured finance transactions
- Comfort negotiating core finance documents rather than only ancillary materials
- Experience representing borrowers, lenders, or both
- Experience with esoteric asset classes is helpful but not required.

The compensation range for this role is $260,000 to $420,000, plus benefits and discretionary bonus.
