Vice President, Fund Accounting

A rapidly growing global credit-focused investment manager with $10 billion+ in assets under management

• Own and manage fund control processes for credit-focused hedge fund strategies
• Lead valuation review processes independently, including pricing sources, broker marks, model inputs, and valuation movements
• Develop automated P&L explain and attribution reporting, identifying key drivers such as market movements, new trades, and carry
• Challenge and investigate valuation variances, stale pricing, and unusual portfolio movements
• Review NAV production, fund accounting outputs, and month-end close processes
• Partner with investment teams, fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisers to ensure accurate reporting
• Drive the design and implementation of improved processes and controls as the platform scales
• Support new product launches, trade workflows, and lifecycle events

• 8+ years of relevant experience in fund control, product control, valuations, fund accounting, or finance within a bank, asset manager, hedge fund, or investment management firm
• Strong understanding of credit products, including corporate credit, loans, bonds, structured credit, private credit, distressed credit, or credit derivatives
• Demonstrable experience independently reviewing and owning valuation processes
• Strong technical fund accounting and financial control skills, ideally within hedge fund or alternative investment structures
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with fund accounting, portfolio management, or valuation systems is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
