Option Market Making prop trading firm seeking an options trader - preferred systematic trading background with positive track record for > 2 years. This firm offers support for traders eager to take risks and feel supported. You will have a team of Quant Researchers and Quant Developers by your side.
Comp is variable based on track record but expect a start base of $200K and a TC ranging from $400K to $1M + PnL attachment and Performance bonuses
Responsibilities- Trade and manage electronic OMM strategies across assigned products
- Own day-to-day P&L, inventory, exposures, and risk limits
- Monitor volatility surfaces, skew, term structure, liquidity, and changing market conditions
- Identify and capitalize on rv, vol, and market-microstructure opportunities
- Improve pricing, quoting, hedging, and execution logic in partnership with quantitative researchers and developers
- 2+ years of professional options trading, electronic market-making, or systematic trading experience
- Demonstrated positive trading track record with strong risk-adjusted performance (as a team or individual)
- Strong understanding of options pricing, vol, Greeks, hedging, and portfolio risks
