Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, the Deal Management – Financial Services practice works on the most complex and high‑profile global transactions in the financial services sector. You will prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people.

As a Senior Associate‑Consultant in EY-Parthenon’s Strategy and Execution – Deal Management – Financial Services practice, you will be a vital member of the team supporting and executing operational focused projects. You’ll assist with the execution of projects supporting our client service team in developing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience across a range of different types of engagements including pre and post deal phases.

- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 18 months of related work experience.
- MBA is preferred.
- Experience in a consulting environment working with financial services clients, including banking, capital markets, asset management, and/or insurance.
- Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Ability to prioritize effectively on projects and adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to develop long‑lasting relationships both internally and externally.
- Reside in or be within commutable distance to the office location for this position.
- Willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
- Previous experience in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
- Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
- Knowledge of how to leverage firm‑approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $130,000 to $185,000, along with medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
