Role
Description:
Equity Capital Markets
As a member of the Investment Banking – Equity Capital Markets team, you will be working with managing directors, executive directors, and vice presidents on servicing and executing client transactions across various equity products, including but not limited to: IPO/Follow-ons, PIPE, Private Placement, SPAC, and ATMs.
What Role Might You Play?
- Deal Execution: Work closely with clients and execution teams on live transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, capital raisings, financings, and derivative transactions
- Client Relationship Management: Generate and present ideas at client meetings as a member of a deal team alongside senior bankers
- Strategic Analysis: Through financial, structural, and business risk analysis, support transactions and client presentations
- New Business Development: Actively participate in the effort to pitch and win new mandates from clients, leverage proprietary content and ideas
- Team Management and Development: Manage Analysts to execute deliverables for clients and support the training and mentoring of junior professionals
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
- Prior ECM investment banking experience
- Outstanding academic qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding technical and analytical skills
- Series 7 or SIE and 63 and 79
