A major and well-established heating, oil, and energy company is seeking a motivated Credit and Collections Representative to join its team. This role involves managing customer accounts, handling collections, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records while providing professional communication to customers.

• Manage customer accounts and outstanding balances
• Make collection calls and follow up on past-due accounts
• Process payments and resolve billing discrepancies
• Establish payment arrangements when appropriate
• Maintain accurate account records and collection notes
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding account issues
• Prepare and maintain basic AR/collections reports

• 2+ years of credit, collections, accounts receivable, or billing experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Fully in-office position - Monday through Friday

• 4+ years in credit and collections
• Associate degree in Business or related field
