2027 Guardian Summer Intern, Corporate Finance & Risk - Compensation & Benefits FP&A

Our 2027 Summer Internship Program is a paid 10-week learning experience where you will be immersed in the daily environment of a thriving global financial services company. You will gain invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily business interactions and job assignments, in addition to engaging in projects that directly affect our business, interact with senior leaders in conversational settings, and network with employees and interns across our offices.

This 10-week internship provides you with realistic experiences and information of what it is like to work erns may have the opportunity to be considered for Guardian's Finance Leadership Development Program upon successful completion of the internship.

The internship program will run from Thursday, May 27, 2027
- Friday, August 6, 2027.

• A current junior (graduation date of May 2028) who is fueled by collaboration, able to listen and make quick decisions and thrive in a goal-oriented environment.

• Required Qualifications:
  
  An interest in exploring multiple areas of Finance and Risk and a willingness to learn about different functions and career paths across the organization
• A high level of comfort with finance and accounting principles
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and Workday

• Assist in Compensation & Benefits related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Assist in various Position Management functions including updating position status, reconciliations between systems, reporting, and ongoing maintenance
• Assist in preparations for various reports, work papers, provisions and reconciliations
• Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors, and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
