Location: Boston, MA or New York, NY (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite)

We are seeking an experienced Loan Operations Analyst to support day-to-day loan servicing and middle office operations within a private credit environment. This role will play a critical part in ensuring business-as-usual operations remain stable while supporting a high-profile fund launch initiative. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, following established procedures and controls, and partnering with both onshore and offshore teams.

This position is well-suited for professionals who can quickly ramp up with minimal supervision and possess strong expertise across the syndicated and private loan lifecycle.

• Process daily loan servicing activities across private credit portfolios, including:
• Agent notices
• Rate resets and rollovers
• Drawdowns and delayed draw activities
• Paydowns
• PIK processing
• Interest and fee accrual reviews
• Support trade settlement activities for syndicated and private loan transactions, including documentation review and settlement follow-up.
• Process cash transactions, prepare and validate wire instructions, and investigate cash breaks.
• Reconcile positions and cash balances across internal systems, custodians, agent banks, and fund administrators.
• Process lifecycle events such as amendments and corporate actions while ensuring accurate updates to systems of record.
• Investigate and resolve operational exceptions with appropriate escalation and documentation.
• Collaborate with offshore operations teams supporting reconciliation, cash operations, and trade operations workflows.
• Perform routine reporting and execute data quality reviews for loan and position records.

• 4-8 years of experience in:
• Loan Operations
• Loan Servicing
• Middle Office Operations
• within an asset manager, alternative investment firm, insurance company, bank, or fund administrator environment.
• Strong understanding of the syndicated and private loan lifecycle.
• Experience interpreting agent notices and performing rate-setting activities.
• Knowledge of private credit structures, including:
• Experience with trade settlement under LSTA and/or LMA documentation standards.
• Proven reconciliation experience with the ability to independently research and resolve breaks.
• Experience operating within controlled and audit-focused environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with internal stakeholders, agent banks, custodians, and fund administrators.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience with loan administration platforms such as:
• WSO
• Allvue
• eFront
• Exposure to IBOR and ABOR operating environments.
• Experience supporting operational teams during major project or transformation initiatives.
• Prior experience working with offshore delivery teams.
• Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini within an operations environment.
