Corporate Action Specialist

Our client, a leading Hedge Fund, is looking to grow their Corporate Actions team
. This team is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and processing global corporate events to ensure timely, accurate outcomes for clients. The role offers exposure to a wide range of securities and events, requiring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Monitor and track announcements from companies, exchanges, and depositories (e.g., dividends, stock splits, mergers & acquisitions, rights issues, spin-offs, bond redemptions).
• Review and interpret event terms and conditions; assess impacts across securities and investor types.
• Communicate upcoming events and deadlines to clients, ensuring clarity on voluntary vs. mandatory events.
• Collect and process client instructions; coordinate with custodians/agents for execution.
• Reconcile outcomes (cash, securities, or other entitlements) and resolve any discrepancies or settlement issues.

• Bloomberg, SWIFT, DTCC, Euroclear, Clearstream
• Custodian platforms (e.g., BNY Mellon, JPMorgan)
• Internal processing systems (e.g., Charles River, Broadridge, proprietary platforms)

• 4+ years of relevant experience in corporate actions, operations, or middle office within asset management, hedge funds, or prime brokerage.
• Strong financial knowledge and understanding of securities.
• High attention to detail with proven organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator with ability to manage client and internal relationships.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial systems; tech-savvy mindset.
