Job Description & How to Apply Below

J.P. Morgan's Institutional Investment Solutions (IIS) team — a global group within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Solutions managing over $50bn in customised multi-asset solutions for family offices — is hiring a senior Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager. Partnering with US Private Bank Advisors, the role delivers bespoke, tax-aware multi-asset investment strategies to the largest and most sophisticated family-office clients: asset allocation and portfolio construction, investment policy and governance frameworks, investment insights, and deepening family-office engagement.

Requires 15+ years of investment experience gained within a family-office CIO team or directly serving such clients. This is a service-provider role — J.P. Morgan serving family-office clients — rather than an in-house single family office hire.

Job responsibilities include: delivering advice and custom investment solutions — understanding each family-office client's plan, goals and objectives, developing a customised tax-aware investment strategy and introducing J.P. Morgan's full suite of solutions; holistic asset allocation and portfolio construction — advising on comprehensive asset-allocation policies and constructing diversified portfolios, with guidance on investment policy and governance best practices; delivering investment insights — acting as a thought leader by sharing J.P. Morgan's latest insights through round tables, client events and educational forums;

and deepening engagement with family offices — driving new business and regional growth by engaging advisors, leading client events and campaigns, and collaborating on new opportunities.

Required qualifications:

at least 15 years of investment experience gained within a family-office Chief Investment Office or through direct work with these clients; deep expertise managing multi-asset portfolios with a strong emphasis on alternative investments and tax-aware strategies; a blend of the advisory perspective of an investment consultant and the portfolio-management experience of an asset manager; excellence in delivering holistic advice, designing complex investment solutions and communicating with sophisticated clients and internal partners;

a collaborative approach with strong relationship management; and a willingness to cover clients mostly in the US South/South-East, with moderate travel.
