Real Estate Investment Associate

A highly regarded real estate investment firm is looking to add an Investment Associate to its team in New York City
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong real estate investment professional to join a high-caliber team and gain broad exposure across acquisitions, underwriting, financial analysis, and portfolio management
.

• Underwrite new real estate investment opportunities across multiple property types
• Build and maintain detailed property-level and investment-level financial models
• Analyze cash flows, returns, valuations, sensitivities, and investment scenarios
• Conduct market, property, and industry research to support investment decisions
• Assist with due diligence, including financial, operational, market, and legal work streams
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and transaction documentation
• Support acquisitions from initial underwriting through closing
• Monitor existing investments and portfolio company/property performance
• Work closely with senior investment professionals, lenders, brokers, partners, and other advisors

• 2-4 years in real estate investment, acquisitions, investment banking, real estate private equity, or a related field
• Strong understanding of real estate underwriting and financial modeling
• Experience with Excel-based cash flow modeling and investment analysis
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative investment environment
