A leading middle-market investment bank, advisory firm, or private equity sponsor may seek a Financial Due Diligence Analyst to analyze target company financials, assess operational and financial risks, and support transaction execution. These roles are well-suited for candidates interested in deep financial analysis, risk assessment, and transaction advisory.

Conduct financial due diligence for M&A, capital raising, and strategic transactions

Analyze historical financial statements, operational metrics, and working capital trends

Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO) to support valuation and deal assumptions

Identify potential financial and operational risks and highlight areas requiring further investigation

Prepare detailed reports, investment memoranda, and client presentations summarizing findings

Assist with data room management, documentation review, and transaction execution support

Collaborate with senior bankers, advisors, and cross-functional teams to evaluate financial health and deal implications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline

Strong skills in financial modeling, accounting analysis, and valuation techniques

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple work streams and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, audit, or FP&A is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research or reporting tools
