This is a senior relationship management opportunity within the Cross Border Banking division of a well-established and growing financial institution, offering full ownership of a complex, high-value portfolio spanning the US-Greater China corridor. The role is built for a seasoned banking professional who is equally comfortable originating new business, deepening existing client relationships, and serving as a strategic advisor to clients navigating cross-border financial needs including nearshoring, bilateral trade, and corporate finance solutions.

With 15+ years of cross-border banking experience, a strong established network, and deep bilingual fluency, the right candidate will thrive in an environment that rewards entrepreneurial thinking, relationship depth, and commercial execution at the highest level.
Mandarin proficiency is required.

• Drive business development and portfolio growth across a diverse cross-border client base with a primary focus on the US-Greater China corridor and nearshoring opportunities — originating new relationships and expanding wallet share through a strong existing network and high degree of independence
• Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients — identifying financial needs, structuring tailored solutions, and delivering across lending, treasury, C&I, and other core banking product lines
• Build, manage, and deepen a large and complex portfolio of cross-border clients; maintain strong ongoing relationships and proactively identify opportunities to add value at every stage of the client lifecycle
• Lead and oversee underwriting and loan forecasting across all transactions; uphold rigorous standards for credit quality, work product consistency, and risk management
• Collaborate cross-functionally with credit, product, legal, compliance, and operations teams to structure and execute complex transactions efficiently
• Achieve individual, departmental, and institutional production targets; contribute actively to the growth and strategic direction of the Cross Border Banking platform
• Leverage deep product knowledge across cross-border banking, corporate finance, and C&I lending to serve as an internal resource and market expert
