Executive Director / Managing Director – CRE Debt Originations

Auricoe is hiring for a senior role within an established institutional real estate credit platform in New York.

The firm is looking to appoint an experienced CRE originator to play a key role in expanding its lending activity and developing new relationships across the US commercial real estate market.

This opportunity suits an established Director, Executive Director, Managing Director, or senior origination professional with a strong network and a proven ability to identify, structure, and execute institutional-quality real estate financing opportunities.

The successful individual will take a senior role in developing the firm's CRE debt business, with responsibility for:

• Sourcing new lending and investment opportunities across the US real estate market
• Developing relationships with institutional sponsors, owners, developers and market intermediaries
• Leading transactions from initial opportunity and commercial negotiation through underwriting, approval and closing
• Structuring financing solutions across a range of property sectors and risk profiles
• Assessing relative value, transaction economics and downside risk
• Working closely with credit, underwriting, legal and portfolio teams
• Building a strong pipeline of new investment opportunities
• Representing the platform externally across the CRE market

• A successful track record within US commercial real estate finance
• Strong CRE debt origination and transaction execution experience
• An established network capable of generating proprietary and intermediated opportunities
• Strong understanding of real estate credit, underwriting and structuring
• Experience across complex and larger-balance CRE transactions
• The commercial judgement and credibility to operate with senior sponsors and institutional counter parties

Relevant backgrounds could include private credit, real estate debt funds, investment management, banking, insurance, mortgage REITs or other institutional lending platforms
