Real Estate Acquisitions & Asset Management Analyst

We are working with a leading institutional real estate investment firm seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Acquisitions & Asset Management Analyst to join its New York team.

This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial investment team where the Analyst will have meaningful exposure and responsibility across the full investment lifecycle, from evaluating new acquisitions and underwriting opportunities to managing and optimizing existing assets.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 1.5-2 years of institutional real estate investment experience, with strong Excel and ARGUS skills and a genuine interest in real estate investing.

• Underwrite and evaluate potential real estate acquisitions, including financial modeling, valuation and investment returns analysis
• Build and maintain detailed financial models using Excel and ARGUS
• Conduct market, property and comparable research to evaluate new investment opportunities
• Assist with due diligence, transaction execution and preparation of investment committee materials
• Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout the acquisitions process
• Monitor financial and operational performance of existing assets
• Assist with asset-level business plans, budgets, forecasts and performance reporting
• Support leasing, capital expenditure and other value-creation initiatives across the portfolio
• Work with senior professionals across both the New York and San Francisco offices
• Gain exposure to multiple investment mandates and work directly with VPs and MDs
