Job Description:- Source and evaluate new investment opportunities across asset-based and private credit strategies.
- Lead commercial due diligence and manage transaction execution, including legal, documentation, and diligence processes.
- Underwrite investment opportunities through collateral-specific credit analysis, scenario modeling, and investment return analysis.
- Analyze loan-level data, financial statements, and transaction structures to evaluate credit risk and investment opportunities.
- Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda and identify key investment risks and considerations.
- Monitor existing portfolio investments and evaluate ongoing financial and credit performance.
- Build relationships with emerging companies, management teams, and market participants to develop new investment opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of experience across structured finance, asset-based finance, private credit investing, debt capital markets, or leveraged finance.
- Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
- Established professional network across fintech, specialty finance, or related markets.
- Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Creative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
