Macro Credit Trading Desk – Analyst

Join the Macro Credit Trading Desk at JPMorgan

Chase, a central part of our broader credit trading division within markets. We seek a highly motivated Analyst to help the desk support continued growth across the macro credit ecosystem from the trading side. As volumes rise, you will help scale the desk's day-to-day processes across
CDS indices and tranches, index options, futures, and total return swaps (TRS).

As an Analyst on our Macro Credit Trading Desk, you will help run the business day-to-day-supportingP&L and risk
,
trade booking
,
pricing/marking
, and
client-driven execution
. You'll work closely with senior traders and take on increasing responsibility over time.

• Run dailyP&Land
  risk
  processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Assist in
  booking, pricing, and marking
  trades across macro credit products (indices/tranches, options, futures, TRS).
• Support client coverage by preparing trade color/ideas, responding to inquiries, and helping facilitate transactions.
• Monitor and analyze risk exposures, including
  scenario analysis
  and
  stress testing
  .
• Build and enhance
  analytics and tooling
  (dashboards, monitoring, automation) to improve workflow and decision-making.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to learn new products quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset; comfortable running recurring daily processes under time pressure.
• Clear communicator-able to explain work succinctly to desk and partner teams.
• Technical/programming capability (e.g.,
  Python
  ; other languages a plus) and comfort working with data.
• Demonstrated interest in financial markets.
• Collaborative, proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
