Senior Investment Associate, Infrastructure

We are currently working with an established investment platform looking to add a Senior Associate to its New York flagship investment team.

The role offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative, entrepreneurial investing environment where Senior Associates are expected to operate with real ownership. Rather than sitting narrowly within one part of the transaction process, the successful candidate will work across the full lifecycle of an investment — from initial underwriting and diligence through execution, portfolio oversight and value creation.

The team is actively deploying capital across infrastructure and real assets, creating an attractive opportunity for someone looking to combine institutional-quality investing with the responsibility and visibility that comes from working within a leaner team structure.

What You’ll Be Doing

The Senior Associate will play a central role in evaluating and advancing new investment opportunities, including:

• Assessing new opportunities across infrastructure, energy and broader real assets
• Developing detailed financial models and return analyses to support investment decisions
• Evaluating downside cases, key commercial risks and potential value-creation opportunities
• Leading significant portions of financial, commercial and transaction due diligence
• Developing investment theses and presenting conclusions clearly to senior decision-makers
• Preparing investment committee materials and supporting internal approval processes
• Coordinating with management teams, advisors, lenders, sponsors and other transaction counter parties
• Supporting negotiations, structuring and execution of new investments
• Remaining closely involved with portfolio companies following closing, including performance monitoring and strategic initiatives

We are interested in speaking with candidates with approximately 4–7 years of relevant transaction or investing experience, potentially gained within:

• Infrastructure or real assets investing
• Investment Banking
• Project Finance
• Private Equity
• Energy or power investing
• Other closely related transaction-focused environments

Candidates should bring:

• Advanced financial modeling and investment-analysis capabilities
• Experience assessing transaction structures, returns and key investment risks
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to form an independent view on an opportunity
• Experience working on complex transactions involving multiple stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The confidence to operate effectively with senior investors, management teams and external advisors
• A genuine interest in infrastructure, energy and real assets
• Prior infrastructure, energy or real-assets experience is particularly relevant, although candidates with strong transferable transaction experience will also be considered.
