Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) is a multi-asset class investing group that sits within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. It designs and develops comprehensive investment management solutions customized to meet the investment objectives and relevant constraints of clients. These solutions bring together state-of-the-art techniques for multi-asset and liability-hedging portfolio design and implementation and reflect proprietary research and analytics conducted by the MAS team.

With investment professionals across the globe, MAS invests or advises on assets for some of the world’s leading corporations, sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, foundations, and family offices.

The successful candidate would become a member of the Lead Portfolio Management Team within MAS, predominantly working with North American corporate pensions and not-for-profit entities including healthcare systems.

The role is highly analytical, focusing on developing and implementing bespoke strategic asset allocations as well as reviewing and communicating results to clients.

• Strategic asset allocation analysis
• Custom liability-hedging portfolio and asset liability matching analysis
• Investment manager / vehicle review
• Investment Committee reviews
• Ad hoc client investment requests

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• One or more year of portfolio management or related experience a plus
• Experience working with pensions or not-for-profit entities (endowments, foundations, healthcare systems) a plus
• Experience with multi-asset portfolio construction a plus
• Experience working with multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience presenting to internal and external Investment Committees a plus
• Expert in Excel and Power Point

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $90000-$125000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
