Product Specialist (1-4 Years Experience)

Leading Global Hedge Fund
The OpportunityWe are partnering with a top-tier global hedge fund hiring a Product Specialist into its New York office. This is a high-visibility role at the intersection of investing and client engagement, offering direct exposure to senior Portfolio Managers, investment teams, and institutional investors.
This position is ideal for candidates with 1-4 years of experience looking to advance their career within a front-facing, investment-oriented role while gaining deep exposure to hedge fund strategies and capital raising.
We are looking for candidates with a strong asset management background, ideally already based in New York.
Key Responsibilities- Bridge investment teams and Investor Relations on strategy, positioning, and performance
- Produce and refine pitchbooks, fund updates, and client materials
- Translate complex strategies into clear investor messaging
- Support client meetings, diligence, and investor requests
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Assist with product development and fund launches
- Maintain fund data, analytics, and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; advanced degree a plus
- 1-4 years of experience in asset management
- Strong investment knowledge with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel; high attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ideally based in New York
- Experience with institutional clients or investment teams
- Exposure to equity L/S, macro, or multi-asset strategies
- Experience with Python (desired)
- Progress toward CFA or similar designation
