Ensure under the authority of Monsieur le Maire and his service manager the missions of surveillance, order, tranquility, safety, and public cleanliness.

- Prevention in terms of maintaining good order, tranquility, safety, and public cleanliness;

- Proceed to all constatations on the regulation of public advertising, signs, and pre-signs (article L581-40, 7th of the environment code);

- Search and record infractions to the rules related to the fight against neighbor noise;

- Record contraventions to sanitary regulations relating to the street and cleanliness of public spaces;

- Record and verbalize infractions to the road code, concerning the stopping or parking hindering and abusive of vehicles;

- Verbalize the stopping or parking hindering of a vehicle on pedestrian circulation reserved passages;

- Record the contravention to the insurance code in case of non-apposition of a valid certificate on a vehicle;

- In case of flagrant delict, know apprehend the or the authors;

- Security at the edges of schools;

- Participate in the surveillance of the good déroulement of public manifestations and commemorative ceremonies, marriages, burials;

- Drafting of records of constatation, information, minutes, and current hands;

- Inform the users of the public street;

- Contact and welcome of the administrators;

- Dispatching of inter-services mail.
