Location: New York
Senior Court Analyst supporting the Child Welfare Court Improvement Project, a federally funded statewide initiative within the Office for Justice Initiatives. The role coordinates multi-disciplinary work groups, implements child welfare court improvement initiatives, analyzes data, and provides technical assistance to family court judges and personnel on compliance with federal and state mandates affecting child welfare matters. Based in New York City with frequent travel within the district and statewide.
- One year experience as Court Analyst, or Bachelor's degree plus two years relevant experience, or Master's degree (MSW, MHS, MPA, MBA) plus one year relevant experience
- Thorough working knowledge of family court and child welfare system operations, family law, and child welfare policy
- Facilitation skills to support management efforts with child welfare work groups
- Ability to review, organize and analyze data and make recommendations
- Experience with federal review processes and statutory compliance (Title IV-E, Family First Prevention Services Act, ASFA)
