UNICEF is seeking an international consultant for its global education policy and liaison team, a role that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in education policy reform or international relations. This 12-month position will support UNICEF's engagement with global governance structures and multilateral processes. UNICEF works in over 190 countries to promote the rights and well-being of children.
OverviewThe consultant will work on global policy engagement, supporting UNICEF's engagement with GPE governance structures and providing input to inform strategic decisions.
- Support preparation for UNGA, ECOSOC, HPLF and related UN processes
- Monitor global education policy trends and partnership developments
- Contribute to internal coordination on messaging, positioning, and engagement strategies
- Track and analyze developments in GPE processes
- Support coordination with Permanent Missions and UN partners in New York
- Contribute to development of knowledge products to strengthen UNICEF's visibility and influence
To qualify for this position, applicants must have an advanced university degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education policy reform or international relations.
