A prominent global alternative asset management firm is seeking a VP, Valuations to play a pivotal role in the expansion of its centralized valuation function. Supporting the broader alternative investment platform, this individual will collaborate directly with senior leadership to enhance and scale the valuation infrastructure across diverse asset classes.

• Partner directly with the Head of Valuations to oversee day-to-day operations and strategic framework execution.
• Direct the compilation of quarterly mark-to-market models and detailed portfolio performance metrics across various strategies.
• Conduct comprehensive model validation and stress-testing for newly introduced financial models.
• Partner with cross-functional groups—including Risk, IT, and Finance—to align on mark-to-market methodologies, valuation frameworks, and P&L attribution.
• Oversee key market inputs (such as yield curves, credit spreads, and volatility matrices) to ensure strict adherence to internal valuation policies.
• Liaise with the Technology team to integrate system workflows for new instrument types and drive process automation initiatives.
• Execute price verification procedures by benchmarking internal valuations against counter party data and external market pricing providers.
• Maintain rigorous valuation documentation and audit trails to support fund accounting and investment accuracy.
• Serve as the primary liaison for external audit teams and independent third‑party valuation firms during quarterly review cycles.
