This position is located in the Policy and Mediation Division of the Department of Political and Peace building Affairs. The Guidance and Learning Unit is responsible for the development and maintenance of a Departmental system and strategies for knowledge management, guidance material, lessons learning and training. The team is also responsible for a range of cross cutting issues related to the work of Special Political Missions, including UN mission transitions and UN integration.

This position serves as Team Leader of the Guidance and Learning Unit and reports to the Chief of Policy and Guidance and the Director of the Policy and Mediation Division.
