The Queens Regional Director for the Attorney General's Intergovernmental Affairs office serves as the AG's primary liaison to the Borough of Queens, coordinating communications between the office and elected officials, community organizations, and constituents. The role involves representing the AG at events and meetings, fostering stakeholder relationships, advising leadership on regional issues, and organizing community outreach initiatives from the New York City office.
Keyqualifications:
- Minimum three years of relevant work experience in New York government, politics, and/or campaigns with increasing responsibility
- Demonstrated understanding of and success working within the Queens region
- Prior experience building and sustaining productive external stakeholder relationships
- Strong writing, interpersonal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Sound judgment with effective troubleshooting and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to self-manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
