Hair and Makeup Artist Volunteer/Internship

Hasana, Inc. is an accessible luxury brand that offers high‑end men’s and women’s clothing, ranging from contemporary to classic. We are looking for talented students in the Chicago Loop area to join our brand team during the spring semester.

This is a unique opportunity for students to gain hands‑on experience through job training, mentorship, and exposure to all aspects of the fashion industry. Please note that this is an unpaid internship.

As a Hair and Makeup Artist Intern, you will have a variety of responsibilities throughout the semester:

  • Apply make‑up and style hair for multiple models before and during photo shoots
  • Be attentive and available on set for touch‑ups
  • Keep up with the latest trends in beauty and fashion
  • Work quickly and efficiently to create a complete look that aligns with the Brand

Qualifications:

  • A passion for women’s economic opportunities
  • Full or part‑time student working toward a degree
  • Eligible to receive school credit and able to commit to 2–3 days a week for 3 months
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously
  • Experience working in a studio setting
  • Versatile with proven ability in make‑up application and hair styling
  • Experience in both hair and make‑up for commercial and fashion photography
  • Able to produce fresh, innovative styles in a timely fashion
  • Experienced working with all hair/skin types and lighting conditions
  • Professional make‑up application experience
  • Provide own hair tools and makeup kit
  • Keen understanding of brand presentation for Hasana, Inc.
  • Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to verbal direction and creative critique
  • Proficiency in collaboration and problem‑solving during photo shoots
  • Initiative and confidence to learn in a “live” environment
  • Reliable with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with a team
  • Integrity, honesty, openness, and a team‑player mindset
