A nail technician is responsible for providing professional nail care services to clients. Their tasks include:

• Manicures & Pedicures :
  Cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails, as well as providing hand and foot massages.
• Nail Art & Design :
  Creating custom designs, including painting, applying decals, and creating other artistic designs on nails.
• Client Consultation :
  Understanding client preferences and providing recommendations for nail care.
• Sanitation & Cleanliness :
  Maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, ensuring tools are sterilized, and following health and safety guidelines. Cleaning and disinfecting nail tools, bowls, facial bowls, etc.,
• Customer Service :
  Offering a positive experience, addressing client needs, and ensuring satisfaction with services.
• Sales of Products :
  Recommending and selling nails care products like lotions, polishes, and tools, giving a description of spa staff menus, soaking tubs & steam/sauna
• Assisting at reception desk & greeting guests is a shared responsibility, booking appointments & computer skills are highly recommended

In addition to technical skills, nail technicians must have good communication, attention to detail, and be able to maintain a friendly and professional attitude. Work attendance & punctuality is a must, team effort is important, must have good attendance, passion for services, able to respectfully take direction, follow Kah-nee-ta Policy & procedures. Working seasonal demands & Weekend commitments are a MUST.
