Loc Color Specialist

Overview

Napp Star NYC is a hair salon that specializes in Locs. We are looking for a Color Specialist to provide color services to clients. Colorists must be familiar with natural hair care, including consulting on color options, aftercare, and maintenance. You will ensure all customers leave satisfied with our services and their new look. Training is provided and required to familiarize you with our standards.

Loc salon

• Must be acquainted with the technicalities of hair color, depth, and tone.
• Ability to work with a range of techniques, including permanent, semi-permanent, and highlighting.
• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking targeted questions.
• Provide consultations and recommend color selections based on customers’ hair condition, tastes, lifestyle, and occasions.
• Wash, rinse, and dry clients’ hair.
• Apply hair treatment products as needed (e.g., color protection creams and hydrating masks).
• Present yourself camera-ready for social media showcases.
• Build relationships with loyal customers and remember their color preferences.
• Maintain tidiness of workstations and sterilize tools as needed.
