Job Description
High-volume, original barbershop in the East Village is looking to add a barber to our team.

We are open to barbers with low experience (apprenticeship/training path) as well as experienced barbers looking to join a structured, fast-paced shop. All candidates will go through a trial period / apprenticeship phase to evaluate skill, speed, and shop fit.

• Commission pay starting at 40/60% (barber/shop)
• Progression to 50/50% in year 2 (based on performance)
• Keep 100% of your tips
• No chair fee
• Supplies provided
• Steady walk-ins + high-volume traffic
• Weekly earning potential: $1,000–$1,500+ (based on performance & consistency)

We are a learning + high-volume environment focused on:

• Speed + efficiency
• Client retention
• Long-term barber growth, not just quick cuts
• Strong walk-in base — you stay busy if you stay sharp

• 2–3+ years experience preferred (but not required)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Strong in fades, tapers, and all hair types
• Customer service focused
• Able to work weekends (full or part-time available)

A live demo cut is required during the interview. Please bring your own model so we can see your real work.
