Job Type: Part-Time

Compensation: $25 - $30 + commission/bonus opportunities

Schedule/Availability: 30 hours or less per week. Flexible availability, including weekends (approximately 3 weekend shifts per month).

Responsibilities:

• Minimum one year practicing medical aesthetics.
• Provide consistent professional medical treatments, facial and body treatments in accordance with office protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Exhibit a strong desire to help others and promote the health and wellness benefits of skincare services while making appropriate recommendations on product purchases.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training patients in these areas so they are aware of all of our services offered.
• Actively promote home skin care regimens and document all medical information using appropriate forms and clinical notes in the software system.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
• Concentrate on patient retention and referrals.
• Maintain a social media presence and engagement.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in an aesthetic, dermatology, or plastic surgery practice.
• Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.
• Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
• Must be a team player.
• Communicate effectively and transparently.
• Be courteous and respectful.
• Solutions oriented and innovative.
• Attendance at all meetings, training, in‑services, and other arrangements deemed important to business development by management.
• World class professionalism with both patients and co‑workers.

Licensure &

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing state (that this role is listed in) Esthetician license.
• Active BLS or ACLS certification.
• Laser or additional aesthetic modality certifications highly preferred.

Clinical

Competencies:

• Ability to safely administer treatments in accordance with state regulations and clinical protocols.
• Ability to recognize and respond to adverse events and complications associated with aesthetic treatments.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ability to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and company compliance standards.
• Commitment to patient safety, informed consent, and ethical clinical practice.
